Fuses

Couple weeks ago my fuse for my interior dash lights blew. Then I got a message, Tail Light Failure. The right side parking lights were out too. Went into the fuses and replaced it. When I did replace it, the parking lights came back on, on that side. Today, it decided to do it again. Anyone have an idea on why it keeps doing this? I know I put the right fuse in, so I know what fuse I need. Thanks.

sounds like you have a short in your wiring somewhere....Fuses blow when there is more amperage present than what the system was designed for....typically caused by a short to ground. Always a fun diagnosis Good luck with it

Could there be something wrong with a bulb or a bulb socket in my tailight?

most likely it's going to be wiring...the bulb can't short to itself...look for wires that have rubbed the insulation off...a wire is (I'd bet) is either grouning out, or has a faulty connector.

there is definitely a faulty grounding somewhere, causing an amperage higher than the fuse can handle. Have you noticed exactly when the fuse would blow? Or is it just something that you would walk outside to? An easy fix to this, which may not be the best idea however, is to use a slightly higher amperage fuse. That would work for awhile, but only suggested until you can search around for a problematic wire. Start by checking out all the bulbs and connections to the light fixtures.
