When you do that go-ahead bore it out all the way and change the Cylinder heads (Aluminum), connecting rods (H frame Aluminum) and the Crankshaft OH hell do it all lifters rockers springs!!! After all this you get 40+HP clean but there goes your low end torque thou!!! Open air intake 5HP(don't be cheap buy the dividing wall so water wouldnt get in especially if you got 95+ with VANO), take the cat out of the catback exhaust (if you know where to pass inspection) and a new muffler 5-15HP depend on what kind of muffler you get. If you change the Headers you mite get additional 5HP or so.
Now if you got more money about 3-5k or so go-ahead get a supercharger system you get a boost any where 50-100HP you'll get your low end torque back also.
