Thumbs down

So, today I was driving just to go driving, and the gas was getting low (little red light came on when i was 20 mins from home in the middle of nowhere. So I fill the thank up all the way and it's sitting in the driveway getting really hot.

So I park it in the garage and about 30 mins latter there's a puddle of fuel.

So to my question. Does the fuel tank overflow dump the extra fuel over by the high pressure fuel lines that run under the car.

There is a recoiling valve, so it can't be fuel. I think that there was a spot of condensation water on the floor.

That's no good. Where's the fuel pump situated, if it were leaking would I see dripping by the rear driver's side wheel on the side of the fuel tank.
