Fuel not pumping

I really dont know where to start. I have a 94' 318is and I got it to crank thats it, I pulled a different fuel pump off a running bmw and pump relay and nothing, isn't there a sending unit behind the passenger seat or something. Could that of gone bad could that be my problem. The car was sitting for a little while before I got it. I just need to get it running again. It could be something else so a few ideas wouldn't hurt to try.

How long was it sitting for? Did you put in fresh gas?

Over time fuel breaks down and wont ignite properly. Thats why long term storage (1 year or more) isnt recommend.

Try to check the fuel filter. There is one along the frame just under where the driver feet are positioned. You may be able to see it from under the hood. It kinda angles up towards the brake power booster. It mounts to the inside of the frame. Check to see if fuel is pumping to the filter then out of the filter.

Yeah I put new gas and gas cleaner, and I put a sending unit and a fuel pump in it that I pulled from my other 318i still nothing.

Check your injectors if you havent already. They can become clogged up.

I checked the sending unit and the lines were not on the unit then i pulled it and no pump so I swap that and I started to get fuel in the lines but didn't make it to the fuel pump behind the drivers seat. The injectors look clean when I put them on.
