i dont mean to hijack, but this is related. My car gets shitty gas mileage. I put a thing of injector cleaner in it, and the tank still ran quickly, the next tank seemed to last for an ok amount of time, put another bottle in and now its running out fast again. Does the tank run out fast with the cleaner in it or what?
No it shouldnt... you also have to remember... the amount of fuel you burn is also related to outside air temperature... the amount of throttle you use.. the condition of your O2 sensors... fuel injectors.. ect... if your getting horrible gas mileage... natural troubleshooting says get a tune up... spark plugs.. injectors... filters.. oil.. fluids... sensors... ect.. fuel injector cleaner.. does just that... cleans the filters...
Actually it sounds as if you are adding the injector cleaner when your fuel tank is full... if you follow the directions.. and add it towards the end of your fuel tank.. (almost empty)... it will mix better and burn the clunck out of your injectors... if you use it in a full tank.. it isnt as concentrate...

Try using called "Guaranted to pass" it's like a fuel injector cleaner but a bit more powerful, and cleans a few more things, that helped me.
