Front Lower Ball Joints..

well, my ball joints are messed up.. when car is lifter, the wheel is moving from side to side... and you can clearly see that ball joints are loose..


is it difficult to do lower ball joints by myself?

i don't have a lift.. just the jack i guess

IMO, pressing new ball joints in are a pain in the a** and waste of time if you DIY. I'd rather spend the money on new control arms which have the inner & outer ball joints preinstalled. And while you're at it, replace the control arm bushings as well. The arms are about $85 ea, and the bushings are about $20 a set. Here's a DIY:

The dealer have special tools to do the ball joints in place and they should charge you 40mins labour for the whole job
