Anyone know:

1. if there is a special name for the front bumper trim that one would replace if he were to take away the license plate bracket?? and if so,...

2. where to buy it?

Thanks a bunch...

I think I saw it at bavauto.com. I'm also looking for this, so if you find it let me know.

Good call.

Did a little surfing there and found it: For $10, not too much point shopping around... I think I'll just get me one of those.

Looks pretty straight forward as far as installation goes...

Anyone? Is it as simple as it looks, or is there a trick?

Thanks.

Thanks.

Great job on the HID installation notes, btw.

If it isn't already, it should be in the FAQ, as well as on that comprehensive list of "how to"s; I forget where that one is...

Don't know. Didn't say that anywhere that I could see. The pic isn't close enough to tell. Either way, it's a pretty nice mod for $20 CDN.

installation takes about 10 seconds. and it cleans up the the look of the bumper A LOT

the one that says BMW on it only fits on the M tech. bumpers. i found that out the hard way.
