ok im totally confused... above, are those ur vin numbers, with the last 7 digits being your chassis number?

because on my retarded south african import i have a chassis number which seems valid because bmw accepts it, then my vin number has nothing to do with my chassis number.

this is wht i have:

vin: 7A81G0J0794548157
chassis: FJ01537 <-- according to bmw or OFJ01537 <-- accodring to some other sheet
engine number: 37190373


i know you're ment to see your vin number on some sticker by the drivers door but i dont have that.

some1 plz explain this to me ... thnx
