just bought full leather for my bmw 318i..

the leather was from a 318i i think since the rear seat dont have headrest..

Black perfect condition, cost me $440 us for both front seats + rear seat + console "including digital climate control unit"

also included 3 door panels "missing rear right"

came with the room lining for a sunroof car with all the buttons..

came with a box of door seals, door handles, rear view mirror, the plastic area which holds the handbrake and ash trays..

i have a few questions..

how hard is it to change seats in a car...
does any body have a guide...

secondly my seats have heating in them... is it possible to wire them up ??? "my previous seats didnt have heating"

and the digital climate control unit... i have the one with the knobs u turn and stuff... is it possible to setup the digital one, or do i just sell all these extras and get some money back..

Changing seats shouldn't be that hard at all. I was about to put some tan vaders in my car but the deal fell through. Look at a repair manual (Bentley) and it should have some stuff on doing it. The heat I don't know how to do but you should be able to someway. The climate control thing I would say will not work.

By the way where did you get all this?

ebay lol, massive package, some guy was selling on behalf of another... Drove 1500k's total yesterday to pick it up and bring it home ... mmm 16 hrs non stop driving

Get a Bentely manual... 60 or so buck solves 98% of most owners questions...

I dont have my manual with me... I'm in Iraq... but I'm sure someone else will help you with that..

check the DIY section for the front seats. check
www.leatherseats.com for upholstery tips and stuff.
The door panels are pretty easy and can be done with a butter knife and a Torx T-20 screwdriver. I just did my panels and will post a DIY soon.

i have removeed the bottom cushion from the rear seats but cant figure out how to remove the top half.. I have a car manual "Haynes" and it does not give any real dtqails on removing the top half when the rear seat does not have a folding armrest...

does anyone know how to do this??
its a 1994 318i 4 door sedan

Yea... in the center of the two pull down rear seats is a plastic latch... you take a flat head screw driver... pry it up... then pull out the two studs which extend into either side of the two rear backs... and pull up...

97 alpine im not sure what you mean... in the centre of the two??

my back seat isnt foldablee, and since the armrest doesnt come down i can find any latches to undo...

ill go back up and have another look now...

in the boot do i need to undo anything that may be holding the seat in??

Well I didnt have a armrest either... and mine just has a plastic latch that once you pry up... allows you to pull the two studs in an upward motion... and release the rear seats out.... could be different.. and probably is... sorry... wish I knew more.

back seat done

little force and to easy...
now my problem is the front seats... reading the haynes manual but it doesnt give the exact size of the bolt... im guessing around a 15mm, or a 5/8

i did try undoing the back part of the rails... but they are freakin locked, soooo tight... has anyone removed the front seats before??? if so can they give me some assistance...

also does anyone know if i can hook the digital climate control unit into my car to replace the knob one i have atm
