| I just ripped apart my 318i again.... cause after the bearing replacement and such.... it was still making some metallic ticking, and a loud knock on startup... but that was only when it was cold....
so, I pulled all the pistons, found out the #4 piston was scraping on the back side... so, that piston is wasted... and the bearings on the #2 cylinder were getting chewed up already because of the prior damage to the crank that didn't look that bad....
so.... now... my question is....
anyone know prices on a set of new pistons / rods / crank?
how about prices of those items for stock parts, also with forged?
this all depends on my financial standing over the next few months... but, I'll probably be picking up the downing atlanta supercharger for it..... so, how about some recommendations on a good piston / rod / crank combo?
