Fold Down Seats

I have a 1998 BMW 328i ... I was curious if the fold-down seats in the back was an option or came standard. If an option ... how do I do it? I can't seem to find the lever on the inside, is it in the trunk?

the fold down trunk should be accessable from the inside only as far as i know, if its not on the middle top portion of the backseats, ur seats dont fold...

Look in your truck at the back of your rear seat. If there is a vertical joint where the two seat halves come together, you have fold down seats. The lever to open them is inside the car on top of each seat. Just push the button down and pull the seat down. It should be very easy to operate. On my 1995, fold down seats were an option.

I have a 98 328i also with split rear fold down seats. The release is on top of the seat back right next to and inboard of each headrest.

Sure there are such things as stupid questions-but I never said this was..in this case i was being blatantly honest.. no need to go into oh it's here and this is how you do it, cuz if u need to ask you dont have it..
