Fog lights

Uhhhhhhh. Obviously I have the lights them selves, but in order to rig them up and have a switch what will this take? Is this only solve-able via the dealership?

check e-bay for the push-button switch...i usually see the whole vent/headlight switch/w/fog button for like $15

Mine is the same Do yours light up? If not, are you sure the bulbs are good?

In mine, the PO had reiwred the fogs to run off the lowbeam wire. I'd check there and see if thats been done first. If so, undo it.

To add fogs properly, you need a switch and the fog light relay.

They dont light up, neither of them do. Isnt there supposed to be a switch there to operate them?

I figured you could help, El Pres, becuase I read once your car had the same situation, and you seem to be the electrical expert of the forums.

Ill probably look for a DIY within the next day or so, right now=too busy.

Ha, Im far from an expert. I just re-ghetto rigged my already ghetto rigged lights.

chances are, those are some dummy foglights just to take up the space... u have to buy a new wireing kit... if u wanna go through a dealer to get it, it will cost a shitload... if u want to "re-ghetto rig" as el presidente, then u can do that too... or u can do what i did... bought crystal diamond cut foglights on e-bay for 90 bucks and that came with wireing!!!

radio shack is a place to start.
but really look around for a good OEM switch.
but really, save yourself hours upon hours and just visit the dealer.
