FOG LIGHTS

I HAVE JUST FITTED FOG LIGHTS TO MY 316 COMPACT 1997BUT I NEED THE WIRING LOOM TO CONNECT THEM. CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT. ITS SO DEAR FR OM BMW.

The car should be prewired. If it isn't, you're F'd.

What you can do is tap the parking light wire to power them.

i want to install some fog lights to my car as well, but im not sure if mines prewired or not i have the rear fog light switch on my car woudl they use teh same switch??? would wiring it to the park lights overheat the wires???

possibly. you can have the power going to one or the other and not face issues. I cut the wire and now my parking lights are off all the time, but the turn signals still work and sidemarkers light up ( so its till legal)

you can tap into your parking light, but you should use the tap to trigger a relay, and not power directly off of the parking light. This setup also makes it really easy to add other mods later on too.

this is a HIDs fog lights I am planing to get for my 328, http://www.sylvania.com/xenarc/x1010.htm I think that for $300 it would be a cool setup with angels and projectors

you HID fogs decrease the effectiveness of fogs 10 fold right?
