so i was going over this dip at somewhere around 50 mph and my right fog light came out of place. when i put it back in it just falls out again. is there some special way to put it back in or do i have to tell my mom that i fucked up my car again, and take it to the dealer.

There is a clip in the bck of your bumper where the fog light needs to go into, you have to get underneath and you will see it. Hope it's not boken.

Well if the bracet is only halp broken you can try and stick a screw in there and work your way around. Otherwise, well you have to get a new one
fog lights alone are susceptible to damage, due to their location with consideration to high speed deflected debris. But BMW fogs seem to be (from what I have heard) especially fragile. Maybe other auto owners just don't care enough to point out their fog issues?
can't you get some kind of plastic cover for your fog lights, like a protector that some headlights have, i dont see where it would fit but is it possible?
You're actually right - check the plugs. The connectors that connect the power and ground wire to the actual fog light assembly can accrue some... deposits... which will resist load to the fog light. Clean off the connectors, and your fog light will probably work better than new.
