I'm pretty sure my guibo is going. I'm getting a rough idle and a very rough ride. It vibrates badly. But it isn't always it will happen then stop then again all in 10 minutes. I'm gonna inspect it soon, do you think I can make it till friday?

flex disc isnt gonna cause a rough idle or vibration when standing still at idle since the driveshaft isnt even spinning. It never hurts to check it but i think you problem may be elsewhere. Good luck
That's right, you would not notice a worn out guibo if the car is not moving. The official BMW daignose for a worn out guibo is: Vibration between 40 and 60mph. So if your idle is rough it's probably not it, or it's the guibo AND something else so check it. It's easy to check it, just get under the car and see if it's cracked or not...
guibo disks usually feel like the cars rear end is shaking violently, from the rear end all the way up the drive shaft. usually when your are punching the gas harder than usual.
first of all the problem doesnt seem to be your guibo disk. but to check it , for future referance, to check the guibo disk you need to get under the car and be able to see the driveshaft. once you find that check the end going into the tranny side. there will be a rubberish disk where it couples the tranny to the driveshaft. check for freying and cracks in the rubber.
Yeah i realized that it wasn't the guibo after i thought about the idle. Weird thing happened it started on sunday and stopped monday about noon time. I drove back and forth to school twice on monday afternoon and couldn't get it to act up. Turned a/c on full blast and nothing, car seems to be running fine now. I changed the oil and cleaned the engine with the degreaser and wd-40 on friday. I'm thinking I may have gotten some water in the engine or soemthing, not really sure. Any ideas?

Did you only wash out the engine bay? Because when i am washing my car I will pressure spray into the muffler a bit, this floods the muffler and causes the entire car to gurgle as pressure builds up and then bubbles and releases gas inside the muffler. It will do it for about a day and then all the water evaporates. I do this to clean out the muffler and it erodes some of the padding in there so the idle gets a little deeper.

I would think that would make the muffler rust out alot faster, doesn't sound like a great idea. yeah i just did the engine bay.
