I'm not a fan of the flat black look. But that may be from being in Florida; too many cars around here look that way from sun damaged paint.

hmm....well i already started, i painted the nose panel and the kidney grills black.
they look sweet, but the rest of the car is still white / gray / red, so that looks kind of crappy.

how about flat black with a couple of nice coats of clear? seriously, not a fan of flat. good luck with the painting

i think it would look pretty cool as long as you do a professional job on it. I know you will be the only one with a flat black E36.

and he will not be the first to do it it looks nice but it is HARD to care for..... i had a matte blace e30.... PITA to keep near perfect....
