Fixing the Inner slider of the Sunroof

Did any one have the instructions of how to fix the inner slider which is below the Sunroof. Actually my suroof works fine, but the inner slider which slides along with the outer sun roof(Sorry I don't really know the exact words for them). was struct inside the roof when I tried to open it some day. Now the inner slider doesn't come back. But the outer slider works fine I guess. (I stopped using since then) Can any one suggest or know what the problem and the solution for it. When I took to the dealer, he said we need to take out the headliner first to figure out the problem. And for fixing this it nearly takes $700-800. Can you guys suggest me whether I can fix this on my own?

well mine got stuck up there one time and i did was pull it out and get it to stick to the metal sunroof again! now it opens and closes fine but doesnt vernt which kind of sucks but hey atlest it opens!

I tried pulling it to the front, But its really hard. And I didn't tried pullling really hard thiking of I might screw something else. So, do you want me to pull the inner slider rally hard to bring it to the front or is there any easy way? i can touch the inner slider but couldn't really hold it tight to pull.
