So I just got a 99 323i 4door, and so far I have ordered and HID kit and JL Audio speakers for the front and rear.

Has anyone written a how-to or can anyone offer me advice?

Speakers ... hit up 'da_bull' here on the forums, he's the local audio expert.

As for the HIDs, it's fairly simple: once you have the kit in your hands, I guarantee you'll figure it out within 3 minutes. I can install a HID kit in <2 minutes; the hardest part is finding a place to mount the ballasts.

Congrats on the buy mate. One sugestion for ya is some 7000k ccfl angel eyes (give ebay a search) and match your fogs with some higher kelvin bulbs. It'll all go well with your hids.

Great way to go with the bimmer, you'll really love this thing, they're great cars. I personally like the styling of the M3s and upgrading to those parts always makes a great improvement.
