If you do M3 then you must swap engine, tranny, dme, wiring harness, driveshaft, cluster, exhaust, rear axles and differential...Its a fun swap and not that bad...I love mine!
But honestly I do suggest doing the suspension (coilovers) first because I did engine first and as you can see in my sig (before coilovers) had alot of roll and its hard to tap out full potential of power with loose suspension, car is amaaazing now that I have coilovers to handle the power thru turns.
