On Fire

Hi guys,

I was wondering if someone has any idea what is going on with my car.
this morning when i started it i turned the defrost on on full blast and noticed like it was a little smelly (smoke) so after 20 sec. sure enough the was smoke coming out out of my the vent by the windshield. i turned the defroster and car off and when the smoke disappeared i started the car again(only i left the defroster off this time) and it worked fine.

The same thing happened already once last summer, i thought it could be some loose leafs that caught on fire...but i guess not.

Also my fan/heater/defroster makes this annoying squiking noise when its on, could it be somehow related to the smoke?

Are you sure it was smoke that came out and not just vapor? What is the temperature outside right now?

The smell could come from dust, etc. being heated up. I get that at times too.

no, it was smoke, smoking smoke, pretty sure of that, first it smelled like it was burning and then started smoking blue color.

what does it smell like? its hard to explain but do you know what an electrical fire smells like? or does it smell like burning plastic etc etc.

could be any of the reasons above
about the noise it could be something a critter might of brought around
i know i found hazelnuts all over under my hood....lol
