nice setup... really like.......id go for a JL W7 13.5in Sub.....they hit soooooooo hard its not even funny. My frined has one in his truck and sets off car alarms with it n its not even turned up all the way. Its insane.

Kudos, that looks nice. I onlt have an 800 watt amp and 800 watt panasonic speaker back there. In a convertible, there's NO room in the trunk, I'd love to have a setup like that!

HOW does it sound?????? With the subs not being in an enclosure??? I have 2 jl audio 12's that i can not use because I can not get an enclosed box in there big enough for subs!

They are enclosed to some degree..THe plexiglass behind the speakers was cut specifically to create the sealed enclosure, the ports allow some airflow, but not enough to kill the sound. With this setup, sitting in the car blows your head off, but passing patrol cars are none the wiser... NY has strict noise polution laws, i would know, i've violated most of them with previous cars

All the Boxes for 12in i looked at were not fitting flush in that space at all... which is why i opted to go a different way...

Oh yeah anyone notice that the back seats Really destroy the sound of anything in the trunk???

I am looking at that, trying to figure out where the damn plexi is!!!! I am loving this setup because it leaves you trunk room, and I have none, I would love to see some more detailed pics of what you did!!!
