That's what i was gonna say, some eBayers have such poor quality products. Look for eBay dealers that have name-brand products. A lot of the tail lights especially are notorious for poor quality. Keep browsing everywhere, I picked up mine for like $37.XX+Shipping from an eBay auction, not a Buy It Now. Tails were in perfect shape, great quality and look great on the car.

As on the other forum, check the feedback of the seller. There is a reason they are cheap. There are good bargains to be had, but be careful. I bought mine from a place called "Autosquare". They shipped promptly, the lights worked well from the start. And i no longer get the "brake light failure" and "brake circuit failure" errors on my OBC.

Umnitza clear tails are $129. Umnitza has a reputation to look out for, so I bet the product is good. Great price also.

definitly always check the feedback of the seller on ebay. also, as already mentioned, the red is fading into the white, i was fortunate enough that this did not happen with my taillights from ebay, but you should be very careful if you are going for a nice clean look. best of luck!

I did, but they kept throwing an error code from the OBC. The led's use much lower wattage than regular bulbs, so the bulb checker sees them as being burned out. Even the $350 pair from Bavauto does the same thing. They work fine, so if you can put up with constant error codes, not a problem. I also believe there is some kind of resistor that can be added to stop from throwing codes.

I find lighting error codes very interesting. I've got HIDs on my E36. If I turn on the headlights after starting the car, no error codes. If I have the light switch in the fully on position before I start the car, it tells me my headlights are out.

For God's sake, you stupid car, decide!

I just got the tail lights from Ebay, they look good with no bleeding. I did only pay around 85 bucks for them.
