I have my red 93 325i sedan, and I am looking to make some lighting upgrades soon. I do not have great knowledge about all the information pertaining to the headlights. I don't have a whole lot of cash to spend on them, but I don't want to purchase something cheap, because it is a bimmer, not a honda. The headlights I was thinking about are the Depo Projector36 Headlights , and I found those here...http://www.understeer.com/onlinestore-lighting.shtml I am just looking to see if those would be a good purchase or not, and would it be an ok idea to get them installed at my local BMW store?
As for the taillights, I have been looking at these http://www.autodynamic.com/detail.asp?PROD...ID=B39298-4-RCT
So I was just wondering if anyone could help me out with these two products, or at lease point me in the correct direction, thank you very much.
I was also thinking about just keeping the stock headlights on the car for now, but just getting clear corners, can anyone tell me where to get a decent pair of those from? Thanks...
Those headligts are very good and worth the money. As by the name they project the light to the ground rather than scatter it like the american oem headlights are. Also american OEM headlights eventually get this grey/smokey fog film on the plastic. This makes the light dimmer and makes the car look old reguardless of paint look. If I had pictures I'd show you the slow evolution of my car from purchase to date. When I changed the headlights the car looked new. Right now i need to change the headlights due to an accident, they work but there cracked.
Go with them there glass and are able to be upgraded to xenon. and halos are just $25 more

I used those tail lights and they work fine and fit perfect. They're made in Taiwan but seem as good as anything else available. The turn signal sockets are that funny offset pin euro spec bulb base, not the standard 1156 base. But I used the chrome/amber 1156 anyway and it'll work. For clear corner lights if you want the same lens as stock but just clear I used these: E36 clear corners from Ebay, they were about $20, and I used Silverstar blue/amber bulbs, but the chrome/amber 1157 bulbs might look better I just haven't changed 'em out yet.
For headlights I used these from Option Racing, they're Taiwan of course but they were better than the stock units and give off great light when paired with Silverstar bulbs: E-code Halo Headllights from Ebay OptionRacing. Their build quality seems as good as the stock lights. I'll have to see how long they last but so far so good. They give off the E-code light pattern and it's probably 30% better than stock.
ok buddy, here is the downlow.. on corner lights, tail lights, and headlights...
