A few questions for a 93' 325i

I have read quite a few different BMW forums recently, and gathered quite a lot of information. I don't quite own my 325 just yet by the way, I'm still trying to sell my current car. Some things still have me stumped. For a chip, not only am I not sure which one is the best, a chip is designed to better your car's stock performance.

If I add pulleys, or an exhaust from a different company, how will it handle the new products?

And for exhaust, people always refer to the one page with the different exhausts, dyno figures and sound files. (I think it was an AA link)
All those exhausts and noises and hp figures are from an M3. The noise is most likely going to be nicer and HP will be higher due to a higher performing engine. Anyone have any input for nice exhausts for the 325?

I have a Jim Conforti chip for my '93 325i. I felt alittle difference in torque and my rev limiter is now 7k rpm. I think the dinan chip is a little less aggressive.

Mine is for sale for 5,500

Mines been good with the chip. Pulleys are a good upgrade but ussually not one of the first done to a car.

I'd actually recomend a chip, then do some suspension stuff.

5500?? Do you have any more information for your car?
My only requirement is that it has to be a 325, and it has to be manual.

One more thing, Im not sure if I made my first post clear enough. When people make chips, they make it especially for the components you have if Im not mistaken. A lot of times, if you buy a chip, you can send it back and tell them you bought their intake and they will reprogram it and send it back. What if i have a different brand upgrade, could it screw up?

An example would be: I upgraded to bigger injectors, how does it know that it is supposed to inject more fuel now.

I too am about to buy a 94 325i and would like to know what would be the first things I should do to a stock motor to get a few extra hp without spending to much cash.

Im no expert but

for ~250 you can get 20 or so HP with a chip
for also 250 you can get an intake for a few hp

if you free up the intake, you should free up the exhaust also. UUC sounds the best on a 325. i'm going to be ordering one for mine soon.
