Fault Code question

So I bought the Peake R5/SRS tool and attempted to clear the codes for the AB. Well the code that popped up was 01-02, Firing Circuit Driver's Airbag.
Could this have been caused by something that happened during the airbag replacement? Any help would be appreciated.

If the key was turned on with the air bag not connected yes. I would clear the fault and if it comes back you have a problem with something in the SRS system.
