my car over heated the other day and i ended up replacing the fan clutch water pump thermostat and housing and my radiator. i get it all together and running yester day. i went to the movies and came back no over heating no funny noises. i park in the driveway and get out to tons of steam my fan blades were all missing and some of the pieces of the fan punched some good sized holes in the new radiator. any idea what would cause this? i ran the car with the hood up and everything was clearing the fan fine,

Maybe something wasn't bolted down tight enough (the fan possibly?) and that caused the havock you described. Just a thought.

im also interested in the fan delete mod as well. please keep me informed on how it goes. as for your rad problem are you sure you didnt leave something in under the hood like a small tool or what not? it may not be there now but it would have caused havoc if it was left in there.

i finished the fan mod. it runs the same temp. It was pretty easy and only took about a half hour. the only thing i had to do was bleed the bubbles out of the cooling system.
