You have several choices:
(a) Just remove the Radiator Fan and the clutch assembly.
Keep an eye on your engine temperature needle. If you don't commute in heavy traffic and don't get stuck in standstill traffic, you should be ok.
(B) Buy the "Fan Delete Kit" from understeer.com. With this kit, you can simply remove the Radiator Fan and Clutch assembly. The kit comes with a lower temperature Thermostat, lower temperature aux. fan switch. I believe it's $95 with shipping. You should be able to do it yourself.
Before you do any of the above, make sure the water pump is good (or you know for sure that it has been replaced recently.
I wouldn't recommend you continuing to drive with that fan blades touching the shroud. At any time, those blades can & will break off and may damage your radiator. If the radiator/hoses/coolant tank is damaged, you will have to spend more $$ repairing those components.
