if you had a full race car probably. if you are just looking to gain a few a hp not really.

performance wise, no, reliability, yes, the fan is just a ticking time bomb ready to break apart and take your radiator and anything else it can with it. just remove it and do those other steps, not to mention having it out of the way makes working on everything else sooo much easier

i find the fan is loud for nothing
