NBIMPORTS is on a distinguished road
Fan or Fan Clutch????

used: I have 98 323 is manual.I start getting some kind of noise around the fan area.I realize some playing on my fan or fan clutch and also when i hold the fan while engine is running this noise is getting louder.Any advise or ideas?
Thank you all in advance.

PS;No over heating or such thing is happening

Could be the clutch or possibly the bearing inside the pulley.

it sounds like metal rubbing to plastic and it gets louder as revs.increases
some friend told me that could be the timing chaing is flapping around.If that is the case how can i be sure of that?Is it easy to fix?

Listen up closer to see if it is coming from under the vanos cover. Vanos cover is that block piece at the front of your engine bay, attached to the engine. That's where the timing chain is.
