Hello one and all,
I have a 2000 323it (e46) and am experience a problem with the blower unit for the a/c. I confirmed that the a/c unit is engaging under the hood, but the blower only kicks on for a couple minutes once in a blue moon. After reading a forum on the E36, I'm convinced that it is a problem with the final stage resistor. Does anyone know if this seemingly common problem with the E36 series was passed onto the E46 series? If anyone has any knowledge on this subject it would be greatly appreciated. Have not yet located the final stage resistor unit under the dash so anyone with knowlege of it's location would also be appreciated. I plan to pick up a unit and replace it myself. Thanks in advance.
