hey i have a 94 318is...
my car is pre-wrired for teh bmw 6 cd changer, but i dont have one...

i found this....
its a Alpine S600 6 disc CD Changer... looks jsut like the bmw one, has all same connections, wanted to know if anyone has a alpine cd changer hooked up
or if our Stock bmw Deck will recognize this cd changer???

I have an Alpine CD Changer in my 318i, not sure what model it is actually cause I bought the car with it already installed. My BMW deck sees it and plays it just fine.

do you know for a fact that it has the same connections?

i'd like to see a link if possible...i know the sm630 works but only on 96+ and with an adapter (all available through crutchfield)
