You had to make a topic of this didnt you... for got sake you really think all of the people with these would actually drill into their head light housing... I think you would have heard of this problem by now...

lol.. double sided tape!! i sure hope u plan on getting thre "brows" not the "lids"... the bottom are corney and extremly rice!! unless it comes stock on a e46!
yeah not a fan of the lids or brows either...even though they look so damn good on jllphan's car and even komodo's whip but that's a risque fashion mod that few cars and colors could pull off...don't know...but go for it....does the adhesive come offwithout ruining the lights BTW?
Well, you kinda half right there Lori. I don't feel like going to great length to explain this (you'll figure it out when you get the kit), but the eyelids go on using three different components.
To attach the eyelids to the corner marker, you first primer the corner light, and then use a heavy duty epoxy.
To attach the eyelids to the headlight, you use an adhesive similar to caulk in consistency, that works well, but isn't designed to be completely permenant (more on this in a minute). In addition to the adhesive on the headight, you have a plastic square that primers and expoxies to the top of the headlight (like you did the parking light). This square is raised and has a hole in it as does the top of the eyebrow. Guesss what goes in there, yup a screw.
This way you can pull the eyebrow off if you ever need to remove the headlight assmebly for any reason (change a bulb, or as I had to so that I could install my CAI, pain in the a$$).
Yeah, the only thing holding me back is I go through cornerlights like nuts, and I'll be installing HID's soon, and it would be a pain in the ass to take em' off everytime.
I just put carbon fiber lids on mine today. It was one of those rare ebay finds. I got them for $80, and they were actually high quality and fit like a glove. I thought they looked really good on my black 328is, especially with the blacked out grill.
I never been such a big fan of eyelids for all cars. I think that eylids should only be used if you're going for that "Bad-ass" car look (Example: Jllphan, 325 Daemon, Komodo9,...) It would hlp if you would give us a pic of your car's front end...
