I am thinking of upgrading my 96 318ti to 325 calipers & stoptech stainless hoses. Does anybody have experience using this brand of hose?

It seems a bit more than most but looks to be better quality and TUV approved.

Thoughts?

Thanks

doesn't the 318 use 4 SS brake lines and the 325 use 6? I know my 325is uses 6.

I taled to BMPD and they said all e36s get the same lines for the front - I assume the 2 piece lines are for the rear of the 318ti???

I had Stoptech braided brake lines on my 240sx. I loved them.

I did a little experiment a while back... with different lines... the stainless lines.... it gives you a little more grip at the first moment when braking.. and seems to give you a little thicker brake pedal... good investment IMO.
