How would a stock E36 M3 exhaust sound in comparison to a stock 325i exhaust? A slight difference in power also? I could probably get one for the same price as a no name exhaust and would rather get something I know will be reliable.

Hey there... good piece of advice.. do a search of the forum for e36 M3 exhausts.. it should give you pleanty of information about what it does to a non-M car.... ups and downs.. because there are pleanty of past topics about this..
There are a ton of inexpensive, lighter than OE, nice looking 304 stainless mufflers on Ebay that will last forever, as long as you don't mind a "little" noise from your exhaust.
dont buy crappy stuff on ebay. save up and buy one of the top aftermarket brands. dinan, uuc, active auto, ect.... thats where u save weight and get some hp. not alot though, cuz it is just a cat-back
Thanks for all the replies. I have been hearing of a scorpion exhaust for $450 on bav auto can anyone tell me a site where I can hear it? I want a deep tone, not that civic stuff.
Thanks

if you want to hear a clip of exhuast you can either a) go to the video vault and some people post links to their exhuast note. or go to www.aatuning.com and go to exhuast click on gen 3 for the e36 and down the page a little bit there will be a link to listen to their exhuast. its what im getting for my car. a little more expensive but i think its worth it
it was really a toss up for me, the AA or UUC TSE. it came down to the tse weighing less. i also got it through a dealership for less$$. i really liked the aa, i think i would have liked the sound better

Sounds awesome! That car was probably hooked up tho? Guess I need an intake also. Are the cosmo racing ones I hear about decent?
