Hey guys, (OOPS...and gals, I'll bet there's some out there) I ordered and installed a Conforti CAI system, now I need to have the engine exhale properly. I see there are many brands of exhaust upgrades out there, all giving various degrees of performance ratings. I'm looking for something that'll give me a good H.P. / torque boost and a desirable deep growl sound. I heard a 325 today that sounded like a rice burner and I'd be very upset if I bought a system that made my car sound like that. Please help me find an exhaust for my E36 328is. Thanx !
check out that link it has soundclips, i know eisenmann and uuc sound good, didn't read the dyno charts though so have fun doing that, i just turned up my speakers, closed my eyes, and pretended i was in my future m3 reving the engine.
my uuc sounds great! when i picked it up from the shop the guy was saying how the uuc was one of the best exhaust systems he'd heard on any bmw. i highly recommend it!
UUC system U sounds like what most people like, anybody running Borla, Remus or Supersprint ? I'd like to hear from you folks also. According to the article in the website mentioned by M3Dude, the UUC and Supersprints give some of the best HP/Torque performance, but nothing is said about the Remus or Borla.
