hey guys i have like 700 bucks right now and am interested in purchasing an exhaust. could you guys help me out. i would like one that is loud and deep, not pussy like a cheap honda sounding one. thanks a lot
nic
Welcome aboard Nic. many guys here will say different things, so dont be discurraged. My sugestion is Magnaflow Performance Exhaust. I have it under my car and hell of a happy man with it. Get rid of your stock mid-pipe with cats and everything and replace it with 2.5" single straight-pipe with extra resonator. You'll be amazed what your car can sound like

It shouldnt be too expansive. Take this question to your local Exhaust guy and I think will eb around $300 - $400, plus whatever work you want. (might be less than 300)

UUC System U. Ask most of the guys on the forums...it's pretty damn loud and throaty. The only one that's as loud is the Borla. Stromung and AA are quite a bit quieter.

ok well i checked all of these out. im not gonna lie tho, i dont know shit about cars yet, so i couldnt tell which one is better(or whatever). i do like the UUC system U one tho because you(Deloriant) say its loud and throaty, which is what i am looking for. ok now to my questions- 1) dtm tips or round? im guessing its a preference, but dtm seem to be a little sexier to me but idk if they are worth the 50 extra bones. 2) what else do i need to get this thing installed if i were to buy the UUC system U?!
thanks for all of your patience and time guys!

UUC. Which UUC exhaust is getting replaced? Is it the U or TSE?
I used to prefer DTM, but lately my preference has become a strong round circle with some good looking tips. Eisenmann has some nice looking tips. I know that cause my buddy has it on his e46. Never seen the UUC in person though.

The way I look at it... if you want a very very well built exhaust... go with UUC... if you want a good performance exhaust... UUC is good.. and Borla is good... I have Borla... had it on the car for over 4 years... and it still sounds wonderful... very deep and loud when going....
thanks guys! i am going to go with the UUC system u. i should have it in the next two weeks! i will also have put on my black out grill and blacked out emblems by then(hopefully they look good)! ill take pics after i get it. thanks a lot you guys for helping a newbie!
