hey, i have a 95 325is and whenever i drive it fast, and or punch it on the highway, i end up smelling this really nasty egg smell, and everyone is telling me something different, so i thought i would ask people here. thanks

Hard to say mate. Might be any of this: Brake pads, Clutch disc, or rich fuel destribution (doubt it couse you shouldve smell gasoline inside). Be more specific about smell plz and where it come from. (even if such sound wierd to you)

Did you recently change your exhaust? Catalytic converter?

I had mine replaced recently, catalytic, and find that it smells like rotten eggs when I drive fast. The harder I drive the more it smells. It supposed to go away with time.

Have you tried using gas from a different company? What octane gas are you using? Try running a higher octane fuel and using a fuel additive. Run the tank all the way down and then refill. See what happens. This worked for me.

yeah...brake pads never ever ever smell like eggs.... and i'm pretty sure clutch disk doesnt either. Clutch smell's like.......clutch, eggs is the cat's
