Bought my baby the other day, a 96 328 IS, with 97K on the clock for $7000 . Not bad I thought. Anyway, the kid that owned it before me put aftermarket exhaust on it. I wish i had a scanner or a dig. camera to show you guys. I dont think its a full exhaust just the muffler. Anyway can someone give me a few websites to some popular exhaust brands so that I can scan through to try and figure out what is on it. It does add a nice "tuned" sound when compared to my buddies stock 328 I. Thanks alot. Oh yeah, what is everyone favorite brand of oil to use? This weekend im going to change the plugs and oil, and probably the air filter. Thanks.

wats all this anti-plat 4 hatin'? lol i have them adn they run nicely. gives you a peace of mind that you are runnign the best out there.
Hey, if it is a really high end exhaust, it wouldn't just be a muffler. are you sure muffler only? the pipping could be aftermarket ceramic? look for a logo etched into the side of it.

plat 4 have not worked consistly yet. I know quite a few people who have developed problems with them. Particuler, in bmw such as misfiring of the cylinders.
