Hey everyone, I have been reading this forum for a while, but haven't posted much yet because I don't have a BMW. I will be getting a '93-'95 325is pretty soon, and have been putting together a list of mods I plan to do to it. I think I've got it pretty much all worked out except for the exhaust. What I am trying to achieve is a civilized exhaust note for daily driving, but I want it to growl when I rev it up. The exhausts I am currently looking at are UUC Twin Silencer, AA Gen. 3, Dinan, etc. I do not want my car to sound ricey at all, and I have seen Deloriant's System U videos, and it seems too loud for me. Any input would be great.

I don't know if an intake is on your list of mods, but if you are looking for a sound that's civilized at low rpms but roars when you open the throttle, check into an ECIS intake. I don't have an exhuast, but I got an ECIS a little while ago and my friends thought I got an exhuast when I floored it past them. If anyone doesn't want to spring for a cat-back they should get an ECIS intake. Just my thoughts. Good luck!
Thanks man, I will definitely look into that. I have an intake on my list, but I was planning on buying a cosmos one. Anyone have input on the sound quality of them?
