Ever Had Your Wheels Straightened?

Noticed that my left rear wheel is a little bit bent, most likely out of round. Because of this I get a "wump wump" sound and some vibration when I get up the speed. I see there's a place. Wheel Collision Center, in PA that repairs alloy wheels. Anybody have experience with them or other wheel straighteners?
Any recos?

I dropped some change on a new set of shoes, and had two bent wheels. I didn't want to spend the money on tires to to put them on bent wheels, so I had a place locally straighten them. Holy cow, what a difference. I told the guy that the bent wheels didn't really affect the ride, boy was I wrong. They charged me $100 per wheel, and it was worth every penny. I cant speak for the place you mentioned, but this place in town was excellent.

ya.. like jllphan said, they defineatly make a difference!

i mean, whats the worst that could happen.. if they don't fully straighten them.. they will refix.. just watch them re-balance the tire..

because when they put it on the thing, u can see if its bent of not..

Is this something that happens to everyone over time or do your wheels
get bent only when you run into something? , or otherwise mess them up.

depending on the metal used to contruct the wheel, many wheels can bend much easier then others... but i mean, if u hit potholes very hard... YOU WILL BEND A RIM... unless u drive a hummer! lol

So while Im trying and I hear that "woosh woosh" sound it means that my rims are bent? Could someone please let me know ASAP, Im going to change my tie rods and get an alignment tomorrow. Thanks
