Ok, ive been shopping around for some new red/clear Euro style tail lights for my 93 325is. Everywhere ive looked they only have the ones i want in 4 dr. All the 2 dr tails have this huge amber bulb covering inside of the tail light making it a huge egg yolk. So what gives? Where did you 2dr E36er's get your tails? and are you happy with them?
**EDIT**
Upon further investigation are 4dr tails the same as 2dr?
I've read in this forum about painting it with a thin layer silver spray... Don't remember who posted that, it was with a spray can of $2.50 or something!

yeah dutch that was me, but aggie is saying that the assembly itself has an orange section.
what i would do would be to not buy those assemblies. The euro tail lights available through bavauto.com or bmpd.com or almost anywhere do not have those amber lenses in them, just buy those.
