A relatively stupid question. I have a 1995 325i E36 and am currently trying to find some parts. Prob is I live in the philippines and not going through the dealer due to ridiculous import taxes they charge. If I see parts on Ebay, will US or Euro spec matter? I need new headlight lens covers (or whole new headlight assembly) and a new rear speaker.
there is absolutely no aftermarket here in the Philippines, so I am pretty desperate in trying to find both parts. If you know how I can order even entry level speakers from Blaupunkt, would much appreciate.
If it's $130 for lens cover, should I just consider replacing the whole headlight assembly. I think I have seen OEM for $110 each. While I would like to do angel eyes or something similar, it is too risky to ship something like that here which is difficult to send back!
in the phillipines, i believe you have projector headlights which use the glass lens. The OEM ones you speak of for 110 are either non OEM or NA spec OEM, which suck.
I don't think you can order directly from blaupunkt, but any webstore that ships interntationally should be able to get them to you. you would have to take the shipping risk. If you would have made this post about two months earlier I could have sold you my stockers. I just threw them away when i moved.

the dealer has a used glass lens, which they tried to use and said it didnt fit properly. so if there are plastic, does that tell me anything on headlight replacements? Dealer told me get either KZW or Bosch. Angel eyes are really nice looking, but I am reluctant to start such a project w/o the technical knowledge (am well below you pros).
With regards to the two piece stock speaker in the rear deck, can you just remove both woofer and tweeter and install regular 4"? I cant seem to find the blaupunkt replacement ones on the net.
