Does anyone have any idea how to go about getting a custom euro plate? I would like one that is my actual liscne plate numbers. I am running without a front plate now but have been pulled over twice for it, and am getting tired of it.

Wow 16 bucks that's cheaper than I thought it would be. Who has one on their car? What other hardware you need to put it on your bumper? Has anyone run into problems with the cops with a german plate that has your actual licence plate number on it?

oh that's definitly not illegal, i mean if you can have your name of something, then why couldn't you have a tag with your license plate numbers on it? it's perfectly legal and it looks sweet.

exactly.. i bet u get a bigger fine if you have your plate number on a euro plate.... then if you had a customized euro plate..
it won't be accepted as a personalized tag, no, but i'm from north carolina and we don;t have to have personalized tags, sorry i miss understood you, but if it isn't required in your state then it iwll be okay.
I found my temperaty plate from when my car was brand new under my spare, I use that one in the front. Been pulled over three times on it on, three diffrent cities, none of the cops said anything.
i checked with local cop i know and he said it is definitely not allowed here in nj... our state issues two plates (front and back) and they have to be state issued...

The OP said he has been pulled over for not running a front plate. A front euro plate, even with his license numbers, will not cut it.
listen guys, here is the thing, i thought this was already clear.......
IF YOU ARE IN A STATE THAT REQUIRES TWO TAGS, FRONT AND BACK, THEN THEY "MUST" COME FROM THE STATE TAG OFFICE, NO EXCEPTIONS......
....HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE IN A STATE SUCH AS NORTH CAROLINA WHERE ONLY ONE TAG IS REQUIRED, AND THAT IS FOR THE BACK, THEN YOU ARE ALLOWED TO ATTACH "ANY" KIND OF TAG TO THE FRONT THAT YOU WANT. THIS INCLUDES A CUSTON EURO TAG THAT JUST SO HAPPENS TO CONTAIN YOUR TAG NUMBERS.
....i'm not sure who all on here is from a state that just requires one a tag while the othr is optional (i don't know all the states diff laws) but have any of you seen those front takes people get that are just for fun that have an identical scheme as the north carolina state tags with the airplane? they say things like:
#1 DAD
JESUS
FISHIN
CRUISIN
.......you know, stuff like that, so in states where you're only required one tag (being for the rear) why could you get a tag that looks like this.....
STC-3947
.....? i mean there is really no difference. just trying tot make it clear that with states that require two tags, they BOTH MUST be from the state tag office. thats the only case where a custom wouldn't be allowed. but who knows they might have someway you could get a euro looking tag for the front.
have you all ever see how classic cars (1920s and such) don't always have to have a current looking tag? they can special request an old tag from the year the car was produced and the tag office will let tehm use say a 1957 tag on a 1957 truck or car. so maybe they have soemthing similarly with the euro tags, best of luck and cheers!
