I recently check my car's VIN and it says "Assembled In Germany", so is that a Euro model?

E36 were made in germany. Only certain models were made here. The Z3 was made in SoCal i believe

The above statement is true... only such models as the z3... and the x's are made over here I think...

most all of them are made in germany. before i bought my 325is, i came across a 320i that was made in Japan. all the BMW manuals were in japanese and so on. i thought it was kinda weird.

No. It was made in Germany, but very likely for use in the U.S.

South Carolina, actually. They make the X5 (yet not the X3) and the Z4 there. They also built Z3s there.
