The other day I had a little "accident" with my bmw 323i. Being a little to close to the curb, the bottom side panel got scratched. The bottom side panel on one side seems a little lose, while on the bottom its scratched pretty good. What I was wondering is if anyone would know how much something like this may cost to fix. I know everywhere I go will probably give me a different estimate, but I was just wondering what a fair price would be for this. Thank you all for your time.

How bad are the scratches? If you can buff them out yourself, thats the best thing to do. If you need a pro to do it, it would probably run about 50-100. If it is a repaint issue, then your looking at about $500 for a great job with OE paint. $350 or so for a decent job, and probaly 100 or so at a a macco or earl schieb.

As for it being loose, there are bolt underneath or behind it that you should be able to tighten yourself to get it affixed propperly.

the scratches arent too severe, but it will require a paint job to fix it up. since its almost on the underside of the car i may just take it to maaco to get it done. thank you for the quick response
