engine swap 92 325is to 99 M3

Can you make a straight swap between a 92 325is and a 99 M3 engine. I have found a 99 M3 engine with wiring harnes and computer. Is the rest of the drive trane ok in this swap. How about exhaust manifold? Any hiden problems??

In his defense...i think the search option is still not functioning properly....

i tried to search for one this morning and it told me i didn't know how to use that function..

According to KingScare, yes, you need a new tranny, and also, the completely drive train. The '99 M3 has a lot more horsepower, so you can damage all axes and the dif. In short, change those parts too, or don't swap the engine!

mmmm Thats what I like to hear... It has too much power and the car will destroy itself unless you swap the rest of it... lol
