 engine conversion ?
Hi everyone I'm having trouble with my 92' e36 316i, I have spent hundreds and hundreds the last few weeks on engine and body work now for my next task The engine !!! Aparrantly to bmw garages it's the nicest sounding m40 engine they have heard but to me it's getting a bit tap tap tappety and that drives me nuts I have flound a couple of doner engines, a 95' 318is a 98' 318is and a 92' 318is and was wondering will they all fit? They all should be the m44 engine but I have been warned off the 98' model engine as it may not fit ? What would all of you bmw nuts recommend (I don't want to go bigger than a 318is engine) hope to hear from everyone cheers, Paul |
