they wont fit. only 92-current BMW wheels for 3 series fit 3 series.

the thing is he's practically giving them away for free. 18 inchers with tires, 2 with ok tread, 2 with worn out tread, the auction is at something rediculous like $150 right now cause he's doing local pick up only. they have an M badge on them, any chance they're from M3 or M5 and will fit? are you 100% sure?

the 5 and seven series have different offsets than the 3. You can buy them, but I cannot garuntee a correct fit, or if they will fit all.

i think the center bore of the 5 and 7series is different, which would mean it would not be hub centric on a 3series. ive also heard the offsets are different. can you tell us what offset those wheels are?

those wheels used to come on the E34 M5, then became factory wheels for the 7series

el president and l33 are right. after looking around, the E38 offset is about 20mm different from a e36, sorry.
