few weeks back i got the silverstar headlights, which are really nice, but then i got to drinkin and i got to thinkin...now i want more

in the near future i am definately going to get the zkw ellipsoid projector headlights, thats a mouthful

but i was also thinking about a HID upgrade kit. i was wondering if it would actually be worth switching from SilverStars to HID, and if id even notice a big difference.

so where can i get an HID kit for my e36, or are all kits generic?

el prez, help me out here bro!

Umnitza has the lights and the upgrade kit for like $350 on top of the cost of the lights. For just basic ZKW Ellipsoids (no angel eyes) i think they are like $400...then add another $350....

Well... High Intensity Discharge Bulbs put out 3x the lumens, use half the power, emit half the heat, and last up to 5 times longer than halogen filaments. They also LOOK infinitely better.

Umnitza also offers DEPO headlights for those of you who are not in the mood to buy top-of-the-line ZKWs. Umnitza offers a ton of great packages with even better service. Demon eyes, HIDs of your color choice, StonGaurd, you name it, they've got it. Email jon@umnitza.com, he specializes in 3 series (E36 and E46) lighting.

I purchased my HID from proxenon.com. I had a terrible customer service orderal with them and they don't come reccomended. If you don't have the money to go for an OE phillips or osram setup, the bohmen setup is the best. ISO and TUV certified, 5000K runs about $375-400 (last i checked prices, may have gone down) depending on where you shop.

But it is definity worth it, and will make you ashamed even of the silverstars the improvement is so great.

I guess because of that new feature at the bottom of the screen people don't look at the date when it was started.
