| Electronic experts needed. I had my battery and alternator tested, they came out ok. My story is that a week ago I turned on my heater, and my car ran horrible with it on. It would hessitate, low beams would dim, and the heater would blow cold air. It felt like AC air. AND YES I DO KNOW HOW TO USED THE HEATER AND AC... lol. Moving on... I thought my alty was going out, but it tested 70 amps. 325's came with 80 amps, so I think Im ok there.... As far as I know the alty would be down in the 40 - 50 range when bad. Last night I tried to use my heater and it was blowin cold air, felt like ac was on, and car ran horrible. I turn the fan switch to "0," off, park my car for 30 minutes, get in it again, drive for 10 minutes, park for 2 hours. Try to start the car up, dies. No crank, nothing. I jump the car and its fine so far... The lights behind the fan switch also turn on and off whenever they feel like it. I was lookin at the wiring diagrams and it looks like there is something called a IHKS control switch that controls ac, recirculation (I do have it on), rear defog, and the dash lights. Before the powers goes there it goes into a integrated heating and climate control module. Im not sure if its one of those causing a draw when its not suppost to. Im still a noob at electronics. My original thoughts that my alty was going, but if it was wouldnt my battery be slowly diein. However the batt. voltage is staying the same. This is my only car, I do drive a lot everyday, and I dont know if its going to die on me or not or with my luck posisible randomly blow up.. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
